Danny does all of north.. He is pretty good at staying up on where drivers are and what they do.. Usually can preplan a driver with no issues..
So my Dallas load fell threw, so now I have a Temple TX that pays only $700.00.. Well more like $700.00 take away Bruengers 30% and then $180 in fuel.. So it pays nothing!! Lol
But it will open me up to more fright in the Dallas area that pays nothing.. Lol
Then I will get back to my area up in Wisconsin.. Whoooooo!! Lol -

So much fun last night!! Boarder Patrole was pretty much convinced that I must of had someone or something in my truck and trailer..
Pulled in, they walked the dog around the truck and trailer 3 times..
Then came the signal, the had me move the truck to a special parking area, exit the truck and had the X-ray brought over.. Well after 2 times around with the X-ray and 15 min conversation, and constant interrogation of me, I guess they decided that was enough for the night and let me go..
It was a good way to kill 45 min.. But hey at least they are keeping America safe, and I'm thankful for that... -

Figured I'd give a quick update on my husband. He's nearing the end of his 2nd week running for Bruenger. He just got loaded in Wisconsin, but this load doesn't deliver until Monday in Kansas! He only took the load because he was told he could drop it at the yard and someone else would take it the rest of the way. He told them he wanted a load that he could drop before cut off on Saturday, because otherwise, this will be a crappy pay week. It'll be enough to cover the fixed costs and fuel, but only leave us about $500. If they let him drop it, depending on how much they take out for the relay, we should be around $1800 net, before taxes.
So now he's just waiting on them to let him know for sure if he can drop it at the yard. If not, needless to say, he will be P.O.'d. He told them before he took the load what he needed and if they don't let him drop it at the yard to get the trip on this weeks settlement.... I feel bad for whoever he ends up dealing with on that one! He won't play games and be d*cked around when his family's livelihood is messed with!
Aside from that, it's had its hiccups, but it's going. Waiting on the settlement from last week to see how accurate my lovely spreadsheet is.We're figuring we should net about $2k, but there shouldn't be a truck payment coming out of that first one, though. That's at about 2600 miles for the week and getting a crap load out of Dallas.
mountaingote Thanks this.
