Well, we're not happy. They took out all the insurances for the week he was in orientation, so double insurances taken out and they took out the truck payment, too, so, yeah...

Yeah, my husband is really depressed right now because of it. :-( His biggest thing is being able to provide for his family, so the worry that things will be tight, once again, just eats him alive. I'm trying to keep him positive, and hopefully they will fix things for him, otherwise, he's going to lose his ####! For any that don't know, Bruenger takes out the truck insurance and OCC insurance on the 1st and 3rd settlements of the month and the bobtail insurance on the 3rd. Well, they took out all three twice on the first settlement... They didn't explain ANYTHING to him, just gave him a paper that tells what weeks things are taken out, so to take them all out double on the first settlement is NOT GOOD! We weren't expecting the truck payment to come out on this first one, either. He was told it would be 10 days from the time he left the lot until they would take a payment. Well, settlement day was the 10th day, so they took it out.

Maybe ask the boss whether there can be an adjustment?

I would stay away right now if you're thinking about coming here. Freight is really slow down, and and most that rate is cheap!

I made about $1100 last week, and this week I'll probably bring home right around $400....

If you want to come I'd wait to March or April before making that move..

Our week was going to suck, but thankfully Bruenger is letting George drop this load off at the yard for someone else to take it the rest of the way, so we could get this trip on this weeks settlement. As long as they don't take out more than they are supposed to for insurances and stuff again, he should net about $1900 for the week, before taxes. :) It's good because my work has slowed down considerably. I usually only bring in about $200 a week, but these past two weeks has only been half that.

I don't count my income when figuring our budget, so my income SHOULD just be extra, but it's also to help offset when he has a slow week. Hopefully he continues having good weeks and my work picks back up. I just need more people to have car accidents... :p

As far as them taking out double insurances on his first settlement, I don't think he's called them to go over it yet. He's heading to the yard, so he might wait until he's there to say something. That or he just is too stressed out and doesn't want to chew their heads off, so he's trying to relax first.

Well after my 400 mile dead head home and last weeks disastrous outcome, I am starting today a freash!!

Picking up my load in St. Joseph, Mo and headed to Middleton, WI for drop # 1 then up to Menasha, WI with drop # 2..

Spent most of yeasterday moving out of one house and moving into our new house.. Wish I had more time to spend at home to finish the move but the rest might have to wait until next week..

Also watched my youngest son play a 2nd seed playoff football came for the championship.. It was a dog fight with the game going 0-0 at the end of the game.. In over time the home team got to the outside and ran it in for a T.D.!! So End of Football season!!

Hope everyone starts the weeks off great!!
