Visualize this; You work at an office complex, suit and tie type job. You drive into work one morning, and the bossman/supervisor is brushing his teeth in the parking lot next to his car and spitting his juice on the ground. Classy guy, right? :biggrin_2552:

Even if some truck drivers didn't get out and pee in the parking lot at truck stops, you couldn't stop what falls out of livestock trailers.
What chance is there, of a livestock trailer parking in an office complex?

So, there is a bit of a difference between a man in suit and tie in an office parking lot, and the standard conitions of a truckstop parking lot.

Odds are that he doesn't sleep in his car every night! You're making a comparison that is illogical at best. I brush next to my truck all the time and I'm fairly discrete about it so it makes no difference to those around me. I think it's a whoke lot better than going into a customer with breath that smells like the south end of a northbound cat!

    Well, I never...:biggrin_25510:

Anyone who is disturbed by someone brushing their teeth outside, is just, uh, well, disturbed. For God sake, GET A LIFE, and be thankful that the driver actually is practicing some hygiene!:yes2557:

Shoot..you wanna hear disgusting? A few weeks ago I pulled up and parked next to a Swift driver and knew I'd be sitting there all weekend. Now I'm in and out of my truck a lot what with using the restroom and walking the monster and for 24hrs never saw any activity in that truck...the windows were closed and the curtains drawn. The second day I was there I was sitting in the driver's seat when the window of the Swift truck comes down a couple inches and a hand reaches out with a water bottle full of pee and he starts pouring it out..right where I have to step and splashing my truck. He must not have even looked out his window first! I freaked and called him such a lazy SOB. I also took down his truck number and reported him. Sheesh...If you're worried about spitting your toothpaste out I suppose you could spit it out on your tires...I mean they run over dead things all the time! LOL
ps..plz understand,I am in NO WAY saying this represents ALL Swift drivers!

Allow me, the suit and tie type job and the bossman that comes along with it slept at his, or at least someone else's home last night. Totally different lifestyle, but yes, gross all the same.

A Solider brushes when its safe (been there), most people brush at home, executives also brush in the executive washroom at work where its cleaned several times a day for them, and sometimes a trucker brushes when they can.

For me its three times a day along with flossing. If anyone doesn't have 9 minutes per day to brush their teeth and floss (2 minutes per brush 1 minute per floss) there not the best at managing their time. After a 14 hour day, or fill in this space with whatever works for you, I can find 3 additional minutes in the morning, afternoon, and night.

My choice is in the truck w/trash bucket, as it gets changed every other day.

Regardless what other people do and how gross they are, we all live by our own standards and were raised differently. I'm not lowering my standards because I see someone else lowering theirs.

    Geno :)

So, I guess you're OK with crawling under your truck/trailer to adjust brakes or tighten up a loose air line, right? Kneeling/lying on the toothpaste juice asphalt doesn't bother you. :biggrin_2551:
