I have looked at their web site. They are in the process of switching the fleet to Mack Pinnacles(good looking trucks) From what I can tell they seem to be a good company.

Best thing to do is talk to some of their drivers if possible.

Good looking, well equiped, late model trucks is a good start when considering a company to drive for I would think.Would it not be a red flag if the trucks are old and in disrepair, prone to frequent breakdowns and/or safety concerns?

If it helps, I went through orientation with them, and 2 weeks OTR with a trainer.

They are a great company from the experience I had with them. Nice hotels, 2 meals a day(Good Meals).. Very informative Classes. Get you your TWIC Card, and your ALABAMA COIL CARD. They match you with a trainer based on your personality. I was an Ex Iron Worker, and so was my trainer.. So we both got along well, insulting each other and being pigs. The only downfall to that, was that he was from Missouri, and I am from Ohio. He went home only one weekend, and I sat in a Hotel. Which was fine by me, because I was getting through my training quick. I was 5 days away from getting my own truck!

Then came Christmas. I was told I was going to have almost a week off, because that is how long my trainer takes off. I got home Wenseday night @ 9:30.. Thursday was Christmas Eve(I may be off on these days, can't remember lol.. but the span is correct.) Any how, long story short, they called me Christmas Even morning, and told me I was going to have to get back on a bus Christmas night, to go back to Memphis.. Instead of getting picked up Tuesday morning by my trainer. That is when I decided, OTR wasn't for me, or my family, and decided to take advantage of the many Local jobs in the area.

Other then that, the company was awesome. I was also told by several Drivers, they get you home pretty much every weekend if you live in the right Area.. I lived in the right Area. Pay is pretty good! .35 cpm starting out for Students. Much better than most of the other companies that take students.

The equipment is very nice, and very well maintained.

Does anyone know if the pay rate for training is still $400 per week?
