Talking about being able to drive stuff on & off the trailer, yes, that's one of the kinds of cool I mean. We contracted golf carts for a couple of months one summer. While the pay wasn't great, it was a hoot!
Driving those things on & off the top level was just plain fun. And sometimes the place they had to go was a ways from where you could park the trailer, so running carts 1/4 mile away to a clubhouse or maintenance building was even better! We delivered to some hoity-toity beautiful courses and golf communities.

Where did you haul hummers for 1.00 a mile from? 3.00 per mile was left on the table.

SHC and Cluck Cluck Thank this.

that was pretty cool, but it took them way too long to load that thing. I'd have given it balls-to-the-wall and hoped for the best LOL

    Who said I hauled 'em?

Anyway rates are right on BOL it would be bad scene for a broker to steal 75% of the top. LOL

I see broke up, fender flopping $8k fleet liner with cracked, rusty $4k steel/wood trailer and I assume he's hauling them for a buck. I mean look at his equipment! They are everywhere too.

My mistake and not intended to say you did haul for a buck a truck, yes they do have those type of trucks hauling hummers and a few pieces of military gear like that.

The biggest rag of a truck I witnessed hauling .gov gear was a cabover dragging a rusty junk yard flat, driver opened his door for inspection and trash rolled out onto the guard.

Dash looked like a file cabinet, driver was nothing less than soap scared and tub shy.
