I recognize many of the names and places mentioned. I was always a pavement guy, but was immersed in bikes; worked in the industry and knew many dirt guys. Have several friends that raced moto- and supercross and have done Baja. A good friend and riding buddy won a bronze at I.S.D.E. :)

I tend to stay off the dirt because that's the only place I ever get hurt. ;)

@Cat sdp What you have done to the Honda? 250 or 450? See ya got the Yoshi exhaust. Right now my LTR450 is pretty much bone stock except for the cherry bomb fuel programmer, baffle and airbox lid removed

Deep in the woods on a KTM for me, single track or enduro. As long as I can bounce off some trees I'm happy.

I used to love running the SETRA circuit and actually bought a motorhome to support it but never had the money for gas for the MH!

I hope to get back in to it someday. I'm still young enough at 46.

Got a new one in 18 , that other photo was the old one. I was already building it when the s... hit the fan. To date it’s got 5 minutes run time in it......

Yosh pipe, Hinson clutch both complete units. Levers, pegs and seat. Factory connection suspension front and rear. Setup for my weight and speed both springs and valving (fat and slow). Renthal chainwheels (2 extra teeth on the back) RK gold O ring chain and a twinair air filter. And graphics......

    It’s a 250.... I’d kill myself on a 450.

    Flint1 and Brettj3876 Thank this.

That's the next thing I'm doing. GT Thunder re valve on the suspension. Im about 150 with gear on. Re sprung/valves for my weight. Like 800 for the package deal compared to 2500 if i went full aftermarket....Elka, PEP

I’ll chime in, I’d take the moto route. Unfortunately in 2019 I blew my shoulder out on the dumbest crash, got cross rutted in a super deep section and hit the ground hard enough that the damage was done, the 19 KX450 was hands down the best bike I’ve ever owned, I simply couldn’t risk any more injuries so I decided to hang it up, at least I have a few photos of the glory days :) 05E427E8-FD17-4B1C-AD58-30697A61A69D.png
