Buckle up... literally newbies

I have the window screens for my truck. I use them an awfull lot. Now how do you suppose i protect myself? Oh a gun, yeah big talk if you actually had one in the truck with you. That is just not an option for many, between all the state laws that come in & company policy’s that must be dealt with a gun is out for 85-90+% of drivers.

Use common sense when choosing a stopping point, and again on choosing a parking spot.

In over 15 years of driving a truck mostly being otr, i can count on one hand the amount of times i put myself in a situation where i had an uncomfortable nights sleep!

 

Bang bang driver get up your on fire ... we broke the window to try and open the doors but they were strapped or something .... I’d be more worried about getting out of my truck then into it nowadays

 

I leave my windows down and the doors unlocked everywhere I stop. I have a G19 as my EDC and frankly, I'm itching to use it.

 

I leave my windows down, doors unlocked, and sometimes the sleeper doors open too and never have a problem and i don't ever want to go somewhere I might.

 

Keep the evil giggle going. Take a knife and fork out of the drawer and say, "I thought you'd NEVER get here!.....Hehehehe"...........

 

I just opened my sleeper doors up. I often forget about them.

 

Tell them you just love delivery.

 

I don't think it happens everyday but it does happen. Haven't y'all heard the story about Jason Rivenburg? With all the elogs and drivers sometimes having to park in some not so favorable places for whatever reason. I don't think the OP has bad advice.
