If the sticker on the door jamb says 2009, and the registration paperwork says 2009, it’s a 2009. The engine was replaced with a 2019 engine.

It’s when the engine was built. Says reman engine right at the bottom of the sticker.

Engine was rebuilt in Feb of 2019 but is still built under 2009 model year specs.

ok, three similar answers, in summary, it seems that in February 2019 the truck started with a "new engine" am I right?
Thank you guys!!! -
For example, I had a 1985 Chevy 1500 one time. It needed an engine, so I bought a new long block (with heads etc) from O'Reilly's I think it was.... for a 1985 Chevy 1500. It was built to spec for that year model. No different than an alternator, A/C compressor or a piston.. it was built just like a 1985 Chevy engine... brand new. Same CI, same bolt holes, same cylinder specs, pistons etc. Just brand new. -
Yes. Truck had a new reman engine installed at some point after Feb of 2019. Reman engines can sit in inventory in a warehouse for a while sometimes.
-
Also too. It could be the original engine for truck. Just overhauled by the dealer in 2019. Sticker was applied to show it was reman. I had the original 1999 Cat overhauled by Holt/Cat shop in 2006. They installed a Cat/Reman decal with date on it.

Thank you guys!! Yeah looks like they rebuild it with the 2009 specs, i don't really think they replaced the hole engine.. this truck doesn't use DEF, and a 2019 engine for sure it use it, maybe it doesn't have nothing to do with it but is what i think. Anyway I'm really thanks for yours replay.
God bless y'all!!!
