There is a program that will work for elogs IF you give into it. There would be exceptions to it I am sure, I would hate to think about it though.

Amazing at how fast this became about e-logs. I don't see how an e log needs to be tied to the ECM as all it. Does is record your daily log. Not shut the truck down, even if it does shut the truck down it has an electronic kill so they can be tied togather. As far as the Feds shutting down our old iron it's gonna be hard to do

Well Gents. I am going to have to jump out. Looks like I have some stuff that eats my biscuits. As an O/O I would like to say, Screw the D.O.T., IFTA, ICC, & about everyone else involved in the process of keeping goods from the customers we provide things for. A $125.00 fine for a mud flap an inch to high.
May those fond folks have fleas, crabs, lice, and other pets the rest of their lives. Cancer is a bad thing. I will be here, till I get a load Home.

The day they shut down mechanicals is the day I'll retire and just farm. It won't be worth it. Same for elogs probably. Hoping for a grandfather with a mechanical.

One thing I'd suggest is staying with a unibunk. There's some around with mechanical c models and 15's or early 18 spds. I'd say that would be a good base. Better ride and easier on the cab and sleeper structures.

Unibuilted sleeper or ultra cab which are you talking about? I hate ultra cabs. I gotta #### near stand up to adjust the radio.

Unibilt with the standard cab roof if that's what you prefer. I don't think the ultra cab came out until around 2000?

1997 Dad bought one of the firsts from Nashville. I have always been biased with the flat cab they are so much better for me the only thing I miss is the over head storage but I fixed that on my flatop I had a wood piece made that went from the back of the cab to the front that was about 2 1/2"-3" tall and as deep as the trad pattern on a Pete roof, it was really handy.
