I was there recently and they have a good part of the parking lot blocked off and it looks like they might be building a shop. The place doesn't have enough parking as it is. Anyone know what they're doing?

    Not a clue.

But, do not like hearing that parking may be further diminished.

Have to reserve a spot there early enough as it is if rolling in there.

Used to park across the street. But since TA/Petro bought, will soon go to crap now.

Looks like I might be hitting my side streets from here on out.

They've been doing this a lot in the midwest. They tried doing the 'mobile repair truck' thing with independent contractors, which seems to have failed miserably. Now they have a partnership with Southern Tire Mart.
As much as I hate the loss of parking, it makes business sense. Parking doesn't generate much revenue, charging $200 to change a marker light generates a lot.

It seems like you can park on just about any side street in an industrial area in Phoenix without getting a ticket. If you see dropped trailers on the street, that's a sure sign.

Pretty much. Most if not all are quiet as well.. not like cali where they will show up at 2am to write you a ticket and there's gunshots and/or riff raff all night long

One of my friends told me he’s just start staying at Casa or Eloy when he goes to Phoenix. He comes in on 10 and leaves on 17, so nothing out west of there makes sense for him.

When I was running Phoenix at the last company I was leased to it was always 3-4pm when I’d get my last drop off. I’d always reserve a spot at the J the day before I was getting there. I’d get empty, go to Danny’s for a wash, then park at the J, then walk back across the street to Danny’s for a shower.

Is there reserved parking at Danny’s now that TA bought it? Or is it still a free for all where they’d sell you a parking pass if you could find any bare ground to park on?

$22/night for all parking & I'm guessing a free for all on finding spot. TA app does not show anything for reserved.

Did not actually stop there last time passing through. Decided to overnight elsewhere.

Going to miss the old Danny's.
