No it's not hard, I just did it. The biggest PITA is crossing the border. You need to fill out a B2, a customs invoice, NAFTA certificate, and RIV form at customs, they will help some. After bringing it into Canada you need to acquire a recall clearance letter from the OEM, open a case with RIV online, and fax them the recall letter. After that you get an inspection form from RIV that you need to take your truck to an RIV certified inspection shop. You need to add DRLs before the inspection. After the inspection you can take the completed imoprt/RIV form to your local motor vehicle branch or maybe insurance agent (unsure how it works out there in ontario) and you're done. Your company may take care of that for you.

Thank You. I just don't like the prices in Canada.

I forgot you need to fax the title to US customs 72 hours in advance of crossing back. You also need to see US customs before crossing into Canada with the truck.

Allan, I know you did this recently but don't you have to provide proof to US Customs that infact the fax was sent and received by them>transmission report.

I didn't. They were slackers on the us side. Didn't even come out to check the vin.
