I can't for the life of me figure out what happened to that state. Go west to Kentucky, it's beautiful and the people are awesome. Go east to Virginia, it's beautiful and the people are awesome. In the middle, it's KINDA pretty every once in a while. And when you stop you feel like you got lost in an 80's horror movie. Yikes.

@Steelersjunkie I tried to make it to Raphine yesterday before you left but between getting hammered by road destruction/accidents coming thru Indianapolis and a castrated bulldog just barely past Beckley was all I could do, so you're safe..... for now :biggrin_255:

And now MY truck is castrated :( I'm sitting at the TA in Jeffersonville OH with a busted frame bag. I was planning on replacing it on Wednesday at home, but she ain't gonna make it. Compressor started cycling once a minute instead of once every 6 or 7. Yikes. They said they could get me outta here in time for my delivery in the morning. Fingers crossed. They have to go to Dayton for parts, and I have an 8 hour wait ahead of me. Ain't life grand.

And remember, if you're gonna surprise me out on the road, come equipped with a gaggle of floozies. Brunettes and redheads preferred :biggrin_2559:

I'm just North of Dayton now, but don't think I could get your part with the 3 minutes I've left on my 14.

####, I just looked at where you are at. I almost landed at the hotel across the street from there. Wish I had known you were there, I went past to try and squeeze a few more miles out but it.wasn't a have to deal.

Well, that stinks. There's a killer food spot close. Best burger I've had in a long time. Couple of cuties up in there as well.

Yes, please turn your blinker on when you are already half way in my lane cutting me off, I really do appreciate it. It lets me know you're ignorant as opposed to an idiot.

Got sent to Virginia this weekend. That's the farthest I've been since being here. Had to drag a load of dextrose there. Overall it was nothing eventful other then wishing I could meet the guy that chose the path of I-64. I had forgot how much fun that is with a heavy load.

Got to final and hook up, was concerned about just having bounced this crap down 709 miles of road and being able to get it out without a lot of hassle. My limited experience with dextrose so far has been the longer you haul it, the more it kicks your ### coming out. disconnected from silo and spent about 5 minutes blowing back into the trailer thru the hopper discharge and aerator valves. It didn't come out fast (3 hours) but didn't have 1 issue with rabbit holing or chunks during the unload.

Also, another new one. Guy where I delivered said most guys unload there at 11-12 PSI. I usually try to keep dextrose around 9 on the top end, over that and the hose seems to get hard like a brick and trailer starts popping off from building pressure up faster then I can get it out even with bottom air open all the way, plus most places scream about higher pressures and doing damage to the silo, but I ran it up to 12 PSI and it went off without a hitch. Their silo must be on good shape.

Won't know for sure until Friday when settlement statement comes out but figuring last week will be the worst I've done so far. Had to have 2 days off instead of just a reset plus had some issues come up with loads, run of the mill crap that happens.

By comparison the week before that I don't think I'll ever be able to top. Caught a couple gravy runs and one of them paid pretty much every mile out and back along with pay for 1 loading and 2 unloadings. Grossed $2,071 dollars that week, so all evens out in the end.

Had a flat today, my 1st on duals, my other job ran super singles. What a difference man. Got pulled over and looked and the rim was still all there, hadn't even touched the ground. Guy came out, slapped a new tire on and away I went, didn't have to wait for them to find someone to have a tire and a wheel. Not that having a flat ever makes my day but this way was much better then with those #### super singles.

Okay, I'm generally not into covers as a rule, but now and then I run across one that really lives up to the original. I cant post it here so you'll have to go over to youtube and search Metal Allegiance We Rock.

And here's one I can post....
