    Saw surgeon 2 weeks ago and she released me as of tomorrow, suppose to be going back out Tuesday for my 4 days. H.R. said can't take the DOT physical until the release date on my surgeons letter (which would be tomorrow). Got a call Friday saying go ahead and get it done. Got a doctor that tested me on everything under the sun, then spent 20 minutes typing into her computer and tells me you did great, I just need your surgeon to fill out this form and bring it back to us since the release letter you got is to general in nature, then we will give you your medical card.

    WTF?!?!

    Asked her, when I bring this thing back Monday morning do I ask for you? She says no, I won't be here, I'm just filling in today... Oh great, I caught someone who is not normally doing this and just wants to kick the can down the road to avoid having to take responsibility for anything.

    I looked at this form, it wants to know specifics about what was wrong, what was performed operationally to repair it, the whole nine yards, then there is paragraph that says something to the effect of I have read, know, and understand the FMCSA regs involved in all this. I couldn't get to the surgeon's office before they closed Friday so will go by there tomorrow morning first thing, but personally, I wouldn't sign this thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't. That crap about knowing all the FMCSA regs is a deal breaker.

    Expecting tomorrow to be very aggravating...

    No, but it was the last part of waking up for sure.

    My girlfriend hasn't given me the best part of waking up in so long I'm not even sure it was the best part anymore.
