If it's over 90 outside and you are still in it it's going to be around 160 F inside there. Ive been cooked a time or two when the AC failed in the summertime at night. It cost the appt time, and once cost the job because of it and resulted in half a day of carefully hydrating at the counter out of gallons of tea for me in my case.

I agree 100%. Im doing what I can where I can, but I also feel that by enduring 5 weeks of this im also part of the problem.

You are part of the problem actually. Stop it.

I have been in cold enough to kill a human in a hour with that engine running. I honestly believe that if for whatever reason it died it would be a lethal problem for the two of us. The load delivery is the least of our problems then. If at all.

I am not angry with you, get a hotel. Rest up and tomorrow deal with the fall out because enough is enough. I think 5 weeks more than showed your dedication to trying to do your best. Stop it. Before you hurt yourself anymore.

I will shut up and not post anymore. Go take care of yourself get warm tonight. There is no company policy intended to save a few dollars in idling fuel costs worth a lost life and things of that nature.

Zip. And a whole lot of yelling when I presented them with a 1500 dollar new AC install at the Savannah TA.

They keep messaging the QC and want me to play phone tag and wait through prompts that dont work.
They have my number, I told them I have no interest in phone tag and they keep messaging me. I bluntly told them all this as well as to call me directly and that im also going to try and get a nap while the truck is warm. So about 2 hours of sleep.

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.

Pull the battery from your phone so you can rest. Don't sleep in that truck tonight. Get a hotel. Once it cools off and the temps drop you are in trouble and morning is maybe one you might see a enternal of.

Since almost everyone is on elogs and sitting in the drivers seat pressing the clutch to make the truck idle is technically Line 3 Drive time, It seems like any company would want to fix the truck or pay for a room

It’s Schneider, they need to burn in hell anyway. Hang the Qualcomm out the window and put something heavy on the clutch just to break the contact on the cruise switch. It doesn’t need to be pressed all the way down.

Hell, for that matter, look up under the dash for the switch and back it out away from the clutch lever so the plunger is sticking out.
