If he is shivering then it's the last warning for being too cold too long. The body is reaching into it's few remaining options to keep alive.

You might have to stay there until morning. Get some food and water or something while you are at it. When you are cold or have been, your fuel and fluid needs go up.

Yeah, its too much of a drain to get up every 2 hours and crank her back up. Tomorrow I can call the other job and figure out how to appropriately jump ship without anything being put on my head while at the same time meeting up with a driver.

Other job sounds nice, but in my rush to leave this company I think I screwed up. I got RG Transport confused with RGT out of waveland IN and applied for RG Transport. Im pretty sure the driver I met at home depot dc doesn't haul tomatoes. Lmfao. Wtf is wrong with me?

Idk wtf is wrong with you. Try a pair of Levi's. The real ones. A really good pair of boots. I like redwings. Most importantly, Women up. Yes that's right. I've seen women who complain less than you.

I think you will probably have a gelled truck in the morning after sitting inside the truckstop or hotel. At that point it will become a problem with the company now. You will also be tired for being up all night as well. No rest. Or insufficient rest actually. You may or may not still have a job today when the smoke clears on this problem.

If you are looking as I see in your other post that you are, then it's a good process to be in. But document everything now on a ledger pad, dates, times and so on. Name names too. So that if they fire you you will have the complete recall as you remember it right now in good detail. If they hurt your DAC and other records used by the Industry, you can put in a rebuttal.

It goes without saying anyone you apply to should be asked do they idle the truck. If they do not, then they are not employers for you because of the issue you are doing tonight.

You better alert dispatch with a satellite message that you do not expect to safely make your appointment time because with the constant cold, a dead truck that will probably gel in the fuel later in the morning and your lack of rest. That will give them time to arrange the things they need to arrange for you.

Go out swinging. Don't sit there and cry into your coffee or flat quit. You already seem to know that you are going to be working for someone else. But do go down swinging, first by staying warm in there tonight and second by communicating that there will be problems with the load, your tractor and your need of rest which will be really bad later. And third looking for another employer. (That idles trucks)

I think I am finished here. There isnt much else left in my kit bag to offer you here without repeating myself.

I enjoy masturbation and farting loudly in crowded elevators.
I also like long walks on the beach and my dog and a jar of peanut butter.
Sometimes a huge duce fixes everything.

Gelling won't be a problem. It's too cold for him to sleep comfortably, but not cold enough for the computer to override the shutdown. OP has stated that below 20° it will idle. Above 20° fuel's not gelling.

    mslashbar and x1Heavy Thank this.
