Bunk heater maintenance

    if its an espar like mine is i have not had anyluck runnin kerosene to clean it, the glow plug rarley goes bad, pull gliw plug remove screen , there is a small air hole , clean it out with a pick or road tool paper clip! it is located in the bore, install new screen reinstall glow plug, i keep spare zcredns and the proper socket for the gliw plug with me, but one time in an emergency i had to cuf glow plug wires use a regular socket to remove and install then reconnect

    if u buy the screen from a dealer it will come with the install tool, then u can get like a 10 pac of screens on ebay for cheap

    Get into the habit of cranking heater full blast in the morning while warming up the truck it will help it burn cleaner..

    I remember reading somewhere in the manual that you want to turn on your heater full blast once a month.

    The last week or so i been letting it run full blast for about 20 mins and its not smoking as much when i start it up and it seems to have helped
