To see how it works go to the espar heater website. We had them in the truck with the last company I worked for. They work pretty well in the winter. Don t dial the heat too high or you ll roast yourself
-
I use to set it at 22-25 Dgr C (I installed European heater timer with Celsiun scale)
-
Ok, I was messing with the controls back there and looked at another driver who posted a youtube video...This runs with the truck off......I can get the fan to come on but when I press the heat button nothing happens......
-
By the way I do have an Espar bunk heater.....
-
It sounds like you have a regular bunk heater that uses hot water from the engine. If it is an independent heater like a wabesto or a Espar, there would be a sticker on it saying so with a shield around it to prevent things from being placed right on it.
-
If it's getting power and fuel then most likely needs a screen and igniter.
-
So I would need to turn it on when engine is still warm......When I posed original question yesterday I had been sittin with truck off for over 12 hours....now Ive had truck started and drove....ive stopped to find a load and turn on bunk heater and now it blows hot air!!!!(Its working!!)

Good way to let it clean it self out is to hook up a battery charger to the batteries. Turn on the heater full blast and let it run wide open 2-4 hours.
