Bunk heater......

    I have AT5000ST, stock heaters are smaller, usually AT2000 ore Eber D3LC

    To see how it works go to the espar heater website. We had them in the truck with the last company I worked for. They work pretty well in the winter. Don t dial the heat too high or you ll roast yourself

    I use to set it at 22-25 Dgr C (I installed European heater timer with Celsiun scale)

    Ok, I was messing with the controls back there and looked at another driver who posted a youtube video...This runs with the truck off......I can get the fan to come on but when I press the heat button nothing happens......

    By the way I do have an Espar bunk heater.....

    It sounds like you have a regular bunk heater that uses hot water from the engine. If it is an independent heater like a wabesto or a Espar, there would be a sticker on it saying so with a shield around it to prevent things from being placed right on it.

    If it's getting power and fuel then most likely needs a screen and igniter.

    So I would need to turn it on when engine is still warm......When I posed original question yesterday I had been sittin with truck off for over 12 hours....now Ive had truck started and drove....ive stopped to find a load and turn on bunk heater and now it blows hot air!!!!(Its working!!)

    Good way to let it clean it self out is to hook up a battery charger to the batteries. Turn on the heater full blast and let it run wide open 2-4 hours.
