Current word is they are trying to put me in a regionsl until they can get a long haul truck open but no guarantee on that either. Told em ill drive a regional short term but dont want to get stuck with it.

I was aproved by Prime but decided to go with Millis. Did I make a mistake? I don't know much about Celadon

If you let a little thing like what you read make you question your decision to go with Millis then you will have a hard time as an OTR truck driver.

I appreciate your concern but I disagree. Some of us don't have money laying around while waiting for a truck to become available. Your bills won't wait for a truck to become available. I don't see how that determines how good of a trucker someone will be.

I not concerned...you are. A company that has their trucks filled is better than one that doesn't...which should make you feel good about your choice...not question it. Put your head down, go through the process and Millis will help you pay those bills and then some.

That sucks to hear man. They did the same with my trainer's last student. He was in a regional for like 3 or 4 days and then got his own T700.

Okay guys. Let me clarify some things. Dont jump the gun. First...they do not have any trucks available right this moment...but that could change tomorrow. I didnt say they were not going to get mr one. In fact Pat is trying to get me one now. From the company perspective it makes sense not to spend money until you have to...I thhink it sends the wrong message and I think it could have been thought out better but you made a good choice with Millis. I dont regret it even though I think it was bad planning. Dont second guess yourself. Stick it out.

I think it is safe to safe Millis tries to fill their trucks mostly with students from MTI...that doesn't make them a good or bad company...turnover is probably about industry standard but they fill them with students AND experienced drivers.
