Burned by an algorithm... Any recourse?

tell em to ram it, sideways at that. and start putting in applications.

 

Their just seeing how much it will take to push the buttons all the way out,hang in there the loads will get better!

 

a good way to avoid a mis understanding , is to have a good understanding
bottom line you knew before you pulled off it wasnt possible, be professional call and explain
the situation, you kill somebody trying to make some deadline , monday morning it will business as usual for everyone at the office , the shipper, but not you!

 

Those loads you call and ask if you can arrive late. Before I accept those loads I call the location for pick up appointment verification, if they say I can arrive late then good. Then I call the final and give them an estimate of when I can arrive, if they say ok, then good. Then I accept the load. It might take 10-15 minutes to get all that figured out but I would rather do that then to get rejected. You add extra time for traffic or weather or stupid drivers.
