That’s weird. The recruiter told me the shift I’m taking would be Sunday through Thursday. Having Friday and Saturday off. Which I would rather having that schedule because that way I can schedule appointments on a Friday and don’t have to use pto or vacation to go to doctor. I hate Monday through Friday off. I’d rather have at least one day off during the week

I went and did the meet and greet and it was ok. IMO I think the pay is somewhat decent being that it is central Florida. We all know that Florida sucks for trucking. But for no touch freight mostly 95% drop n hook to sams clubs it pays 40 cpm $15 stop pay. If it’s a live load load live unload detention starts after one hour unless it’s a Lowe’s then it starts after two hours. It’s a five day work schedule. With the option to work a 6th day if you have the hours. The work off of a 60/7 clock. The average gross is about 900-950. Some do more some do less. Just depends on the driver. You get two vacation days from day one. Benefits kick after 60 days and 401k starts after 90. Saddle creek for the past 52 years has always had a profit when it comes to their revenue. Now for their cons from what I can tell. They don’t have Driver facing camera only forward facing cameras but I think they micro manage the drivers from that thing just a little too much from what I was getting from the ops manager. They do offer a 6 month guarantee of $900 but that goes away. I don’t like that at all. Because they do a lot short haul stuff and who is to say that you only do $600 worth of stuff that week. That is what you will make. At least at Burris they will bump you up to $900 no matter what. So you have to take it for what it is see what is best for you. I wanted to give you guys some insight and info on them and if you guys have any more questions or if I missed anything let me know. Be safe
