Welcome wantabe.
I drove for one of the charter companies up here, couldnt take the whining and sniveling of the passengers so I decided to drive a truck, freight doesnt whine...LOL -
passengers are not a problem, except for occasion PIA. plus I don't lump freight they move there own luggage. Stay in motels not a sleeper, don't fuel, don't. have to deal with lot lizards, and my loading docks are easy.
quiet in drivers seat since engine is in the rear, also I stay out from one day up to thirty depending on what I want. also union work.
plus I can relocate three times a year to different home terminal.
The big thing I miss is rolling the gears. all the buses are automatic transmission.Drac1985 Thanks this. -
Welcome to the party!

thanks. hope to be able to idle away down time here

You must work for a good company. We were told we had to load and unload luggage. Yeah it was quiet in the drivers seat and if your were lucky enough to get one of the newer coaches driving was a dream, no lack of hp when heading uphill.
