Bust is sooner than you think....

You can hardly call what I'm doing putting my head in the sand!

With the exception of the last few posts, no one was saying anything of value except that it can happen....and my response was; "Yeah, we know....AND?"

So you can try as you might to put me down or twist what I said, but all I did was ask what the purpose was of all the sky is falling crap.

I still don't see a point in repeating it endlessly...no one is arguing that it WON'T happen...So why not make the money while we can?

Or is THAT putting my head in the sand? LOL,

Then again, judging by the apparent intelligence level out there...yeah, just keep repeating the same thing....I'll ignore it....it's not meant for me...I'm much more intelligent than to need that.

Look at it on the bright side... You have a least 5 more years to make that money! I don't know about y'all but i see that as the glass half full! I've made great money each of the last 2 years and if I have 5 more to go well hell even better! Oilfields work will never stay in one place so you just follow the wave!

 

If you would like to hear something about what the thread is supposed to be about...China is now looking for fuel. China has purchased 1/3 interests in specific plays with companies like Chesapeake and Devon( EagleFord and Niobrara that i know of). They are diverting much of what used to come here from Venezuela. We have a small vacuum created by this growing demand. On the twisted side China has purchased Canadian oilcompany Nexen and now has rights and abilities to drill in the Gulf.

 

If things do go bust there they will just move to Ohio, PA, and WV. They are predicting 3000 - 5000 new well in Trumbull Co., OH alone in the next five years.

 

That's a lot...it's hard to imagine that Permian has around 80K active wells...

Buddy been in the patch for 15 plus years. My old man, his whole adult life same with his daddy as well as my mommas daddy and so on. Yea it's feast or famine that's why you have a savings account. Can't stand the heat don't come to Texas we'll make you rich but use your head. Closer to the wellhead the safer you are. Production hands aint worried bout it. Haul crude or treat wells. First to go are ruffnecks then water haulers(pretty much the day before) then frac hands. By the way we are punching holes in the ground right and left. Our great country needs our oil so you can listen to some clowns that never worked an honest day in their life or take the advice of somebody who needs those wells to go up and down.

 

when you see the companies stop hiring..then the boom is over...till then..kaching!
