It was Transport America. Sad thing is, this driver had more experience then than I do now. He wasn't a noob.
-
I don't think you understand. He was asking me because he didn't know. How do I know that? He told me. I had to explain to him the conversion from pounds to tons. He told me he always wondered what it was. I wasn't even the one driving when it happened, I just woke up to tell him I needed to stop to go to the bathroom. He was good enough to know that pretty much any sign involving weight included his vehicle in it so it wasn't like he was ignoring signs posted in tons.

southern refrigerated trainer said and i quote " WTF R U DOING ENTERING THIS EXIT LANE AT 55 MPH YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN AT LEAST 15 MPH BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR LANE AND GET INTO THE EXIT LANE!" to witch i replied (after checking the mirrors) "like this" and slammed on the brakes hard and trainer hit the dash, lol he was a douche. he also said that theres absolutely no way to tell is your trailer is tail heavy just by feel, proved him wrong when i slid the tandems 3 holes back after being loaded with a heavy reefer load hit the scales 80 miles down the road 14,000 front 31,600
drive and 32,100 tandems he still insisted i shouldnt have moved them because nobody can feel anything like that and it was a lucky guess, lol douche -
I dont believe you slammed the brakes on your trainer if u did u r a dumb wad and I think u were over weigh on ur steers...u don't have to lie to kick it.
-
ok slammed was not exactly what i did but i did hit em pretty abruptly he got real mad and #####ed all day but i didnt really care, and for the steers i was over but i slid my 5th wheel to correct it but my point was more that the guy argued with me about something that a scale ticket proved, which was that i was right in sliding the trailer tandems to balance my trailer weight so the trailer wasnt tail heavy

I would of kicked you out my truck you could have caused an accident plus on exits you have to obey the posted speed take 5 miles off that for us you were exiting not entering merging with traffic speed so I would have been pissed 2. There is nothing worse than a noob with an attitude.

Hey man.....wanting to teach somebody a lesson with abrupt & unsafe driving is called ROAD RAGE... by which you are bringing yourself and others in trouble.... gotta be able to control your emotions while you're in traffic....Mud Dog Thanks this.

Trainer saying, "Just drive the truck. Stop wasting time on PTIs." -
I remember my trainer saying to always follow the GPS. He was religious about that little box (I prefer using an atlas and writing down any intricate maneuvers). The GPS (a car one, at that) told me while he was asleep to get off a road and go through a small town. This happened after I had argued with him before about how unreliable it was to use. I had to stop and wake him up, there were low tree branches on the road. He then starts yelling at me for getting off the interstate. I told him the GPS said to get off the highway and he replied, and I quote: "You can't trust it all the time, you know not to get off the highway".
He's also the genius that went from Ontario, Oregon to Ontario, California via US95 to I-80 to Sacramento, to CA-99, to I-5 over Grapevine, east through Lancaster on CA-138 (I think) down the old road by Cajon Pass near the scale. All because he didn't want to take the shortest/best route because it involved off-highway driving for hundreds of miles.
