    My last truck I shelled out for a Bostrom Wide Ride II. IIRC it was $600 at Vander Haag's, I got along with it real well but some people do not like the wider, bigger size of them. and yah, it has a massage feature too. I gave it to my stupid brother-in-law. I picked up a wondergel at Oak Grove today, I can tell it is going to be an improvement.

    I thought someone would latch onto the "throbbing butt pain" for a gay joke. I did not anticipate the poop humor, I guess that is clever for a truck driver. cheers.

    Maybe just visit the buffet more often?

    Seriously though, I've been through this, mainly with motorcycle seats. You're putting too much pressure on your tailbone or the back of your hips. The seat in my truck gets a little uncomfortable like that after 4-5 hours. I either raise it up a little (puts more weight on my thighs) or slouch down a little (gets my butt off the rear bolster). If that's not working, it'll either take a foam or gel pad or a different seat.
