Yeah but in the OP drawing, there is only one car on Oak street. So that doesn't apply.
You got to make up these absurd scenarios for there to be gray area here. -
Oh God, the irony...InTooDeep, IH Truck Guy, ZVar and 1 other person Thank this.

Of course you need the car to move. Otherwise you could not make the turn. Your final answer doesn't help

Then I would have waited.God prefers Diesels, Long FLD and expedite_it Thank this.

Why am I the end all be all here? I’ve done a lot of driving out in the country, turning into tight driveways off a two lane with no shoulder. I suspect my driving style and yours may differ. I have zero problem going all the way to the other side of the road and using all of it to make a right turn. That’s me. It doesn’t mean I’m right or that others should agree with me.
If there was no oncoming traffic and you went clear to the left maybe you could’ve made the turn without forcing them to back up. Or not. Nobody knows but you because we weren’t all at that particular intersection with you at that particular time with those same traffic conditions.ZVar, God prefers Diesels and rockeee Thank this. -
AModelCat is the MVP of this thread.
Additional thanks go to God Prefers Diesels and LtlAnonymous.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
You said if there was no oncoming traffic, you would swing left to make the turn and make the yellow car back up. People can rationalize this all they want, but it clearly contradicts some other posts on this thread.
Why does everyone have to pretend like you all agree on everything? -
I'll wear this bronze medal with pride. Lolrockeee and expedite_it Thank this.

What absurd scenarios do you think I have made up?
