If you agreed on a rate it's done. Your problem if you didn't get more.

Ah, so now it's "he is probably lying about other stuff too."

Since when is it any of your business how much the seller, or anyone else, makes?

I love dealing with guys like you; "What's your bottom dollar?" Like that's supposed to mean something. The "bottom dollar" is what it's listed for.

My answer is if I got what I wanted I don’t care what the broker made.
If I committed to doing a 35 mile load for $900, Legal dims, no tarp, 450lbs (real life example) and the broker told me he charged $1800 (real world example) do I give a ####? Nope. I made what I wanted. I’m glad he made money- because if he didn’t there wouldn’t be any more work like that next time.

It became my business when he told me how much you would make on the sale. I never asked that I ask for bottom dollar so give me your bottom dollar don't justify your bottom dollar with a lie.

it's called...."flipping", done all the time in real estate..buy a distressed property, invest some money to make it look nice, sell for MORE than you paid for it in the beginning.

    also done with used vehicles.

if you had a problem with his time, money invested, just move onto another one..

if YOU were in the business to flip real estate or vehicles, are you gonna sell for the same money you invested?

if so, you ain't gonna be in business very long.

what does it matter if he makes a profit of 2K or 20 k...??

he took the initiative and bought it, and you stood by and did nothing.

so in theory, you lost twice.....

I know what you're thinking, and why you're thinking it, when you see that first purchase price.

That truck was not accessible to you at that price.
