I went from $800/Mo. Rental to only $66/Mo. Insurance.
    Life is good.

And that's why we do it boys and girls!

Last year I spent about $4000 in repairs on my trailer. This year $70. I have put some labor in on top of this but that was just parts. Once they are right they seem perty cheep to keep around.

I got no idea what you make but i would be very surprised if you couldn't do better with your own. But ya might have to give up that home every night thing.

Currently today it is 30520 lb. That will change on Friday however when I get a new tripac put on here. I probably could lighten the load a bit but I carry a lot of junk with me. I would rather have a little extra weight then tell a customer I can't take care of their load requirements.

Wow, your truck is light. Your trailer should be around 11k to 12k lbs right ? All of my previous 48' combo trailers were in that range.

With my current 2011 midroof Cascadia, a combo trailer will put me above 32k empty. These newer emissioned trucks are really heavy and must be paired with all aluminium trailers to be able to haul 48k. This is the main reason why all the aluminium trailers are being sold like hotcakes while the combos are flooding the market at dirt low prices. If you have a pre-emission truck, this is the time to grab a combo trailer.

I have a pre-emission Classic with the N14. With the new APU, I should be right at 31k.
