    even mt i couldnt come close to that---
    its going to be interesting how much the mpg goes up---just have to remember to keep the foot easy with that much power
    i never have had the option

    Bobtailing before I dont think it would have done that. Driving it easy is not much of a concern now. Before I had it turned up I would have thought that too. But its not like you think it would be. I kinda expected this ragging animal that would be scary to drive in the snow or wet roads. Its just not that way it is so smooth and easy to control. I think it may be better for the trans and driveline. The reason being you dont have to mash the throttle to get it to go. Before it was not uncommon to put the pedal to the floor cause you could ring its neck and still not be going to fast now if you would do that your asking for trouble and the temptation is not there. I drive it normal and jently it comes very natural. It is just so smooth I love it.

    Yes, PDI has economy tunes for the Acerts. These files are written with a very small amount of fuel added to them, but have the timing changes needed for fuel economy. You would gain roughly 30-40 hp above your stock setting.

    Mr. Haney, I would really like to get in touch with you. Have read the forums quite a bit but am not much at the computer, or posting on forums. Have a couple of ECM's for you to tune and would like to put in a cam. Not sure who I can PM for a moderator to get a message to you...need a little help.

    Fuel report with the PDI stage 1. My previous best was 6.3 and that was when my trailed need repaired and I took it to Dover OH. Alot of miles bobtailing and pulling a mt flat. I had 2 days on this tank with the new tune. I fuel at the same pump, same spot everytime. Did not do anything very heavy these last 2 days so with the old tune I would have been happy with 6.1 After I done the math today which was 462 miles / by 67 gallons comes out to 6.895 and that was with more that a few blast up the hills to see what it would do. I am VERY pleased!!!! I think it would be possible to break into the 7s.

    I dont put that many miles on a year about 60,000 or so. At the price I am paying for fuel now that will save me about 4000 a year. To be honest I wouldn't have cared if I did not save a drop of fuel. It runs so much better that was worth the money spent. The fact that I will save more that twice what I spent in the first year is icing on the cake.
