I wonder how much you can dim that down at night. The older I become the more I hate bright lights at night to the point where I've swapped out all of the bulbs in my dash.
Bye Bye legacy dash...peterbilt is going all digital.

I was told that you can order the original T680 or the mid life update T680 by my dealer. The updated one would have some slight body changes and the digital dash. Hmmm
Just think how much that sucker is to replace when it goes out and you have no Speedo or gauges.Accidental Trucker, magoo68 and Tug Toy Thank this. -

Of course they're getting rid of the old style gauges. How is a dealer supposed to make any money if what they sell lasts forever? Planned obsolescence is now the standard business model of every consumer product built around the world, especially electronic products. Everything built today has a very short shelf life by design.

I hope it lasts longer than the one I had in my KW years ago. It was nice when it worked but when it went out KW wanted $3500.00 for a rebuilt one but they didn't have any in stock. I got a wiring diagram & a speedo & tach with the dash panel from a junkyard & changed it over. No more problems after that.
