You may not know of a non mask wearer who didn't get sick, doesn't it doesn't have some effectiveness in slowing the spread. Look, it's well established that the mask is not the sole prevention method. It's a combination of methods. Like I said, some people wear them, some don't. I am not going to criticize those who don't. It's their prerogative. I know for me, I'll go with what multiple experts say, who work in that field.

I share your line of thinking. It's weird how people ignore the advice of those who actually research and study this stuff, for a living. Even if they went to a year of medical school, it's still more knowledge than I have.

He isn't insinuating truckers are ignorant or stupid. Now we all are ignorant to the virus. It's a lot of unknowns. Truckers are "experts" of the industry. The funny thing is, truckers get so pissed off when our leaders make regulations, you know the ones we've selected. If I look at some of the threads over the years, I'll see, "How can they make regs when they've never been in a truck?" "They don't understand how the industry works." Many comments along those lines. Truckers don't want non truckers telling them a thing about our industry, but they are always the first tell anybody that will listen that everything reported is a lie, especially if it doesn't line up with their thinking. So perhaps spewing info that lines up with an opinion may say something about one's intelligence. I think I like the aforementioned phrase, "confirmation bias." That's all people do nowadays, come up with an opinion and got to the web to find some random article or blog to back it up, usually written by someone not credible, and then tell folks to educate themselves.

Actually, your constitution became more fortified by consuming enough truck stop meatloaf.

You remember when the hospitals were getting overwhelmed, yet they were all laying off medical staff?

    Pepperidge Farm remembers.
