Yep Heartless is a short to medium hail outfit~I’m sure you’ll have some defenders but for the most part they advertise a big cpm with crappy miles.

Correction. I’ve been at Abilene for 7 years. They raised our speed limit to 72 in September of ‘13, 5 months after I hired on. The buyout happened March of ‘18.

I no longer need to be home by Friday night for it to qualify as a weekend. That's something you learn to accept after nearly two decades of this. I deliver Saturday, I will likely be home before noon, and won't have to go out again until Monday the 10th.
I accepted it for longer then that. Fortunately I decided not to anymore & went local. Got off work 1030am friday & will return 0200 monday. We have some drivers that never drove OTR & complain about stuff. I tell them to read some of the OTR posts just to show how frivolous their complaints are.

    loose_leafs and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.

Well actually, just this morning, they offered me a dedicated run... out Monday and back on Friday, drop and hook, salary, with benefits. More money is paid should weekly mileage pass 2k.

I really need this schedule after what’s recently happened within my family.

And coming from a company whose financials took a bath last year... it feels reassuring to move to a carrier that does not believe in debt and from what I’ve researched, pays and treats company drivers well.

    SHOJim Thanks this.
