Currently they are telling us nothing will change but that is doubtful. I and most of us assume that the Heartland changes will start rolling out in the months to come.

Hss nothing to do with being butt hurt. Has 100% to do with arrogant know it all truckers talking out their ### about things they know nothing about. He just assumed because Millis was a "company " that the pay was low. Sorry I dont handle ignorance well. Its why I stay out of terminals and truck stop counter talk...

I thought Millis would be one that will be a exception, but I guess not.

IF the rats have not fled the sinking ship they will.

I do know one thing for all the millis drivers I would begin the job search immediately and kind of getting a feel for what is out there that fits your needs... guys at this point it's not a matter if it's just when..

SuperRookie, Trucker61016 and mjd4277 Thank this.

Yep. I was with American Freightways when FedEx bought us.
Same ol' line......"you run a great operation already, we wouldn't want to mess with that."

Look, Dan and the boys will hang out for exactly as long as the contract calls for. Then they will take their MILLIONS made off of the backs of drivers, and go fishing.

No big deal, people. It's just business. If you thought for a moment that these boys were somehow above the fray, you thought wrong.

Yep and as happy as I am at my present company I think the writing is on the wall here also .
The old man is pushing 80 and the 40ish boys are running it now and do a dam good job however they seem to have no interest in growing beyond 100 trucks and can't unless they buy more land ...and they have had opportunities.
Unless they decide to expand I see a sale here in the next 5 to 10 years too.

I think the reasoning behind that is try to keep everyone calm, not sabotaging equipment or property and still moving the freight until the shoe drops.

Still undecided, Opus and bzinger Thank this.

    This.
If I were you guys at Millis I’d have some sort of “exit strategy” in place-just in case.
