Bypassing flatbed to stepdeck.

First day hauled a flat, second day hauled a run, fourth day a step. You guys try to make it sound like rocket science.

The trailers don't make it harder or easier, it's the load that dictates securement.

 

The only trailer I have ever despised loading was a dern fixed tandem short well double drop. Was used for concrete panels. The load paid round trip, but the boss just could not run a trailer empty.

The very first time I drove a tractor trailer was an oversized stepdeck in road construction. I guess the owner had confidence in me.
