C-15 MXS valvetrain issues

It is just a bad design period! I recently tore into a motor that the #1 jake head cracked in 3 places coming out in pieces. It also took out 2 of the jake head bolts. I have been into these overheads many times. I have been setting my valve acts alittle looser (around .027"). I have been doing this to all of our trucks that have'nt had any problems yet, and they seem to be holding up. I hope this helps!
