Heck, Im over here trying to figure if any of us should take you seroius.
You act like it shouldnt even phase any of us when we put fuel in the truck.
Who cares its a write off! No money out of my pocket.
Ive never hauled a load for CH Robinson. I only know what I read here and what people have told me. If you guys are getting people to haul stuff cheap, more power to you. Me personally. Im jealous. I wish I owned CH Robinson. The first thing I would do is fire you from being the companies spokesperson.

He has no idea what he's talking about. $2.00 a mile is trash..... fuel is running over .60 so how could $2.00 be good stuff? The kid pays off the book but the truck eats off the hub...that's another 5%.
And young man, you have not laid out any facts. All you did was throw out asumptions and predictions and you insulted quite a few folks with your advise......
Your 24, I suggest you sit down before you hurt yourself and quit telling truckers how to run their business. You don't have a clue. CHR is good, pays promptly and very transparent. They are an excellent filler for my domestic fleet.Last edited by a moderator: Aug 8, 2013

The problem is, you guys believe your own propaganda... I've had Cheap Robbingsome agents "educate" me on the "fact" that it only takes 70 cents per mile to operate a truck --> that's fuel, insurance, driver pay, taxes, mx allowances, etc... I don't know where you guys get that figure, but that's like saying you can pay $100.00 per month on a 3 million dollar mortgage and pay off your house in 6 weeks... just as ludicrous... it COSTS over $1.50 per mile to operate a truck ON AVERAGE, so when you guys claim less than 1/2 of that makes a profit to the OP... I guarantee you wouldn't be able to pay your home electric bill of $300 per month on a $50 per week salary... even writing it all off on your taxes... which has NOTHING to do with the cost of running a truck... all a tax writeoff does for any OP is lower the personal income tax on the few pennies he can make per load... you act like the government refunds all of our fuel costs or something... what planet do YOU live on??
Yep! Vented my spleen for the 3rd time today... AWESOMELast edited by a moderator: Aug 9, 2013
