The funny thing is this story has been repeated on here so many times by so many people...just date and times are changed...I believe her they have a terrible reputation,I have had several trainees that went to their school and have said the same things

 

England has the worst reputation in the industry,so then why or how do they manage to get the most ppl attending their school?Are they cheaper then others or what?

 

I think they just flood all the job search sites with advertisment. I see more CRE and Knight job ads than any other company.

 

Have you tried SWIFT op? They have a CDL school and even though SWIFT is another " starter company ", they seem to be miles and miles better than CRE. Either way, best of luck to what ever you and your husband decide to do.

 

I find it hard to believe he had to ask to pee, I mean really??? Sorry, but that is a bit over the top.

 

After each time the examiner failed your husband, did they ask him, "Are you sure you don't want to lease a truck??? "

 

I hear that.I wonder what the sales pitch is that brings ppl in droves.

 

I had really a good time at CRE, but that was 9 years ago! It seems now they have become just a rotten company to work for. When I worked for them, they pushed the lease, but if you wanted to run company they had a spot for you. Also, their school was awesome and the instructors super helpful and knowledgeable. That was almost a decade ago, though.

 

I almost signed a lease purchase with CRE back in 2006. Something about their lease terms didn't sit well with me. I went thru the Schneider Driver Training Acadamy when they still had one. Their training was great, I just had a problem with the Terminal Manager on their Wal-Mart account so I quit and drove Golf Cart Trailers for 2 years before I joined the military. I am so glad I kept my CDL renewed while in the military. It would be a pain to have to redo the the testing process again. Does your husband still have the GI Bill as that could give you the money to go thru driver school. I wish you the best of luck
