Half the people here (at the slc terminal) act like they are on vacation or this is some kind of joke. I do not think they would be successful at any occupation.

 

That is the biggest problems with big carriers. They want bodies to fill seats. I could just imagine what shows up on Sunday morning.

 

I would imagine they would get a bonus when a student completes a lease. Not when they sign for one. England would lose too much money otherwise.

 

this guy is retarded. After one year of driving he said the trainee made rookie mistakes? Hell he's still a rookie himself. And where was he at the times the mistakes were made? his fat ##### was probally in the bunk!

When you pick up a student, 9 times out of 10 they never drove a truck before. They aren't going to know what DEF is, let alone know where to put it.

 

So if you read the post backwards, does your wife and kids come back, your trailer is returned and they cancel the lease?

Then don't become a trainer if you aren't willing to do what a trainer should do, which is teach. Trainers that use a student for nothing more than a added logbook are the worst trainers out there. Heres a concept: if you get a team load REFUSE IT.
