If the company is still in business, you won't need a W-2 or 1099 as CRE will check the reference with a phone call first. I'd bring tax documents anyway just to be on the safe side. Tax documents will also provide proof of past residency, so there's two birds with one stone.

Okay,

So...I hear so many bad things about C.R England and I want to make a thread for satisfied drivers from C.R England. Basically just drivers who have good things to say about the company.

The reason I'm creating a new thread is for others like me, who don't want to waste their time reading threads with 19 pages of outdated posts from years past. I'm looking for up to date info. Though past experiences are welcome.

I'm thinking about taking their driving school course, and am looking into a serious career as a trucker. I currently have a full-time job in retail. I'm very wary about quitting my current job to do a shoddy training program, because I have a car payment to make. Any experiences from truckers who started off like me would be VERY WELCOME. I'm very nervous about switching careers. Especially seeing how many potential drivers these "driver mill company schools" weed out.

Now, some other posts I would be glad to have here in my thread:

1.) Other driving schools which are affordable alternatives to C.R England. Please, no 3,500 dollar driving programs with no guaranteed job at the end. I'm not a gambling man.

2.) Complaints which are listed in a constructive way. Everybody has issues with their employers. It's hard to avoid. But I don't want any posts that whine about trivial matters that all trucking companies are/may be guilty of. lol. Remember, I'm looking for a reasonable way to get into a career as a trucker. I AM willing to make some sacrifices to accomplish this. I'm a real trooper.
