    a very good engine. my last truck had one.

    I wish i still had it. They work quite well but if you are looking to pull big weight up big hills, go a 15L motor..

    on flatter land with gearing to nett you cruise between 1400-1500 you will get great economy.

    The reason i ask you this is because i have a close friend who is selling a fld 120 flat top sleeper year 2000 with 500,000 miles on it for 8,000 bucks.i have to ask him what the rears are.not sure...thanks for input

    They are good motors, id have it set to 430hp straight, never liked the multi torque crap. They put out 1650lbs torque so it will do whatever you ask of it.

    They are good little battlers arent they...
    Mine did ok the few times it had around 130K lbs gross on a single trailer...

    Rocks are BAD for staying legal ok? :biggrin_25512:
