C15 Acert check engine light

    the harness is routed under the thermostat housing and exhaust manifold. clip the wires at the t-stat and route them along the heater hose at the water pump to the diverter valve.

    Had to do the same thing on my truck. Boss just had to do it on his seems silly where they routed the wires.

    Back the the beginning, it's usually a wiring problem. You need to find the problem in the wiring.

    if you know its just the wires. how do you replace just the wires. can you just but the wires

    wow! Same thing just happen to me. Flash code 98. Wires are burn. Can you just buy the wires and replace them yourself. Or maybe cut and put back. Will this haem my motor if i run another day like this.

    You can splice in new wires. The only other option is to replace the harness, which is a waste of money if only 2 wires are bad. It's best to solder and heat shrink. I route the wires on the outside by the water pump, rather than behind the precooler under the exhaust manifold. On our Petes, they run the heater hoses there, so I just put the wires in a loom and run it with the coolant hoses.

    what i am trying to figure out i see where one end goes it near the sensor . But i cant see where the other end connect to. Is this something major? Trying to make it home to get fix. Will it hurt anything to run it for about 1300 miles to get home.
