rydr, I'm also trying to do a mxs to 6nz conversion with the 16:1 low compression IPD rebuild. Do you have a list of what was needed to complete your build? I'm not on here much as far as conversing however, I've been trying to further my education by reading a great deal!

CGI? I've only ever heard Cat refer to it as NRS (NOx Reduction System). Learn something new every day.

Clean Gas Induction. EGR flow come from after DPF. Supposed to be cleaner, but many times pipes cracked and engines got dusted!SAR, Cat sdp, pushbroom and 1 other person Thank this.

I'll have to look and see where Cat takes their NRS gas from on their engines these days.

that reminds me, I’ve gotta look at the 2008 Cat C13 we have.
We haven’t put it on the road yet since buying it.
That small flex pipe looks buggered up. Gotta replace it. -
Not a big fan of exhaust mods because lot of garbage hack software jobs, but SDP and LEE engines are good candidates if keeping the truck.

Everything you need for the 16:1 conversion will come in the ipd kit. I used cat head gasket - i recommend you use a cat head gasket aswell. i also used cat piston rings. truck runs so much better. i get more power and better fuel mileage with the 16:1 and a single turbo conversion

About to start rebuild on a 625 not sure weather to use Cat parts or go non genuine cost is not the issue just looking for a better product especially head gasket
