I’ve got c15 acert that threw code 95 for iva system oil pressure voltage high, replaced the sensor and check engine light went away. Next morning about an hour down the road check engine light came back on and would turn on and off randomly, checked the codes and it showed iva #2 #4 and #6 not responding. Ran a iva actuation test and all solenoids were working. when the engine light is on it’s only giving about half power, was curious what direction I should troubleshoot next?
note: the sensor I replaced wasn’t cat brand, it was PDI, connector seems a bit loose.
Engine serial: MXS53135

I am not a fan of aftermarket sensors. I will use them in a pinch but not at all for oil pressure. I would check the harness real good and then a Cat sensor and then if code continues then you have to go to next step. Might be a bad o-ring or something loose.

Oxbow, Heritage1lw and Stay Puft Thank this.

How brittle is your harness, those iva harnesses can cause lots of issues once they get oil in the wires and worn out. I myself don't fight iva issues anymore jmo. One less thing to go wrong

Yes replace the internal wire harness. It's not easy, I had a mechanic replace it and no more problems.

I have this same dreded code 95, on my 06
C15 acert. Is the sensor located on the driver side or the passenger side of the motor. Also one I change the sensor, will the check engine light go off, or will I have to go to a dealership?
