C15 Acert Vibration

No code and no derate.. I have experienced code and de rate and replaced solonoid to fix problem. But no code or derate this time.. Just failing iva test.

 

Did you ever figure it our?

 

I had a problem couldn't figure out vibration under load and didn't get any codes to pop up. Did Injector test and the technician in lincoln ne kenworth said 2 injectors were a little off and said he wouldn't change them but i told to go ahead and just do it. after changed injectors vibration was gone and truck ran really smooth with no problem after.

 

Also had a clutch problem. put in a new clutch and after a month started having and constant vibration,and when I would take of the clutch would really grabb and jerk my truck, after checking drive line and yokes (motor mounts/ changed them) tranny went out. when they took the tranny out my clutch was shattered around the center hole. after new clutch and tranny no more vibration.

 

Yah ive ran cut out tests and I think the injectors being out a little bit are the cause of my vibration. Not going to change them yet as they are within spec, I will continue to monitor them until its time to replace.

 

I also had straight pipes with the quiet inserts, when I pulled the pipes off the baffles were completely plugged with soot. I put on a new set of straight pipes and the truck seems to be much much happier.

 

Hi so what was the diagnosis I'm curious as I also am having the same vibration and no dealer or mechanic is able to daignose the issue my head was also replaced causing due to 3 cracks after the head was adjusted the vibration was gone but now it has come back I tell you there are a very few good truck mechanics I would call them part replacers.

 

Sorry I never did find what was causing the problem, the truck has been gone for almost a year.
