If ur smart enough to understand algebra and c++ with a fuel table ull see it in comparison to urs. Check fuel psi. If good check harness and volt if good bad spring

Must be it then, I only have dealer version of CAT ET. Don't have ETS. Fault code for injectors on ACERT truck engines and pre are only circuit faults. EPA 13 and newer HD diesel engines must have OBD monitor for misfire and they will throw torque contribution codes.

Same here. Gotta get my hands on Cat ETS for that expert diagnostic skills. Also wasn't aware the ecm turns on the jake when it limits fuel.....

Whatever you do with your own truck is your choice and financial desicion, but I sure hope your not "tuning" others. Seen what jacking around with fuel tables does to internal components. Cat engines hold up to it the best, but the weakest link will be found. Reminds of a "hacker" we got some software off of for engine brand that we don't commonly work on. Program needed updated so had to call the dirt bag. He lied of course on free update. Informed me his primary work was deleting EPA mandates. Interesting. Said did remotely from comfort of his rat infested dwelling. I asked him if he had ever worked on a diesel engine or drove a truck. Nope. Asked if he knew the four-strokes of the combustion cycle or firing order for inline six engine. Nope! People were paying him $2,000. I bet it cost them more in the long run. Said part is most "tuners" are just like him.

If u had half a brain cell u could read the fuel tables in comparison to urs. And I also said it was like having the Jake on. If u knew how a Jake break worked a derate cutting a cylinder isn't any different. U guys can #### with my verbage and spelling but are world's behind me.

A true tuner does it to they're vehicle and tests and tunes it themselves before releasing. You don't really need to know the firing order of the cat to make it work. You literally have a table that shows u fuel by rpm. A slight modification in this case would get you out of derate.

If u go wicked or even not knowing much about engine you need to know fuel ratios given ur combustion chamber. Also need to know how efficient ur intake is to ur exhaust.
