So you are recommending running an engine that has a 20% difference in fuel distribution from one cylinder to another. Yea, running a dead cylinder never hurt anything. :smt023

Just where in my post do i recommend running the truck with the wrong ecm? You took my post quoted it and still misunderstood what I wrote. You are way too negative and need to chill just a little. Remember its just a website with peoples opinions. Yours differs from mine. So what. The caterpillar program is real close all the way across the board. Not all the same so dont think that's what I'm getting at. Running the wrong ecm with the wrong parameters is not what I recommend. Like I said have the ecm reprogrammed to the specs of the truck and the motor with the proper trim files from each injector and all should be fine with no "grenaded motor". Being that I myself reprogrammed a few cat ecm's myself I would know a little. But since you don't know me and I don't know you how were you to know what I know. I forgive you for being a Dick. Good day to you sir.

I don't think the OP has any intention of programming the proper parameters or trims. If he did he could have just reflashed his original ecm. Least thats how I understood it

    Cetane+ Thanks this.
