Which pressure sensor? There are the standard oil pressure, atmoshpiric pressure, and the IVA oil pressure sensor. The first 2 are mounted on/in a housing on the drivers side of the block to the rear of the fuel filter base. The IVA oil pressure sensor is on the passanger side of the head up near the front of the motor. Its very easy to get to.

I'm not sure i'm posting this corectly i'm sorry if i'm not.I have a 2005 kenworth bxs c-15 chk engine light is on diag pulled a code 95 oil pressure sensor voltage high or low. I know where the sensor is and i can change that. This truck just had the whole top end done including camshaft from a broken roller in oct 2013. I hear some people saying that the actuators go bad if its a code 95 but i'm told 95 is the switch outside the rocker box. Power has been down it seems to me quite a bit and it seems turbo under load doesn't spool up fast.Around 70 mph engine is fat and good should i just change the sensor this cat motor is twin turbo produced in late 04 i really need help with this code 95 thing

the code 95 is one of three things, bad sensor (oil pressure vva sensor) or wiring to the oil pressure vva sensor. or a bad new sensor, there has been a lot of that recently.

I am having trouble find the codes I got from my truck.
Truck is a 2005 379 Pete with a C15.
Motor was made in 2004 and S/N starts with "BXS"
Here is what I think I got...
Code 17 and Code 74 ?
It went down like this.
1 blink, slight pause, 7 blinks.....then long pause..... 7 blinks, slight pause, 4 blinks
I want to think that it is 2 different codes (17 and 74)?
Thanks for any help or advice. -
I'd say you have two codes
-
I agree
Now if I could just figure out what Code 17 is
Code 74 - has to do with Cylinder 5 and/or 6 -
When I get back in my truck tomorrow I'll look to se what a code 17 is and let you know tomorrow night.

Double check that 17 code, you should not be getting that. That is an injector actuation pressure fault for HEUI engines. 75 is high or low current in the #5 or #6 injector circuit.
Is it possible that the 17 was a 27? That's high or low voltage at the coolant temp sensor. That's the only code I see with a 1 number difference. -
yep, no code 17 in my book either,
