    Ok. It is a 6NZ.
    Primary is Donaldson's P551311.
    Water separator is Donaldson P551000.
I didnt get a chance to check the tanks yet.
The other week after about 450 miles I stopped the unhook and I noticed the fuel tanks were warm to the touch. Definitely not hot but noticeably warm. Ran from pa to nc. Outside time in nc was 65. That's normal?

They cycle quite a bit of fuel so warm tanks are normal.

Supposed to be warm. That fuel gets hot. I have a fuel cooler but they don’t do much

The primary you listed is a ten micron filter. Secondary is three micron.

    SAR and Oxbow Thank this.

How old are your fuel hoses? They should be replaced about every ten years. I also replace regulating valve and check valve in fuel filter base when replacing hoses.

    SAR Thanks this.

    10-4 on the fuel tanks...
Well the truck is less than 2 yrs old. Glider.
So yea, not quite 10 yet.

Is 10 and 3 micron a good thing? Or how is that for size?

    3 is too small .....

I’d go with cat filters on both and see what happens.

I am getting ready to replace the fuel hoses on a truck that I am putting together. It is an 89, and had the braided hoses with Aeroquip fittings. Would you use the same or go to plastic?

    SAR Thanks this.

Don't do plastic ! Use the press fit fittings and make sure they don't cut into the inner (wall) of hose when made. That also maybe an issue with the poster with the restriction issue. A flap of rubber may be restricting fuel flow.

    SAR and Oxbow Thank this.
