Some trucks have air controled heater core water cut off valves. They can put air in the cooling system. Sorry I am not up to date on KW's as the newest one here is a 2000 model.

Because when you run a 6nz file in a accert with actwin turbo the head gasket cant take it . So you have to put the stock file back on before hoing for warrenty work because you did hotrod it

But it wasn’t an accent, it was a 6nz fiie in a single turbo engine. It was just a 6nz engine at that point

Change the piston to 16:1 compression ratio. Or have the bowls cut. It will end your headache.

I agree with @Jon Earl. Use the ACERT 16:1 industrial packs 10r-7172 or IPD has 16:1 steel pistons. IPD doesn't warranty them cause they know what you are doing!

16:1 steel IPD pistons with 3104188 top 1644187 inter and 3014014 oil genuine cat rings

don't assume just because the heights come up within spec that the material under the flange isn't recessed in one spot. running the protrusion gauge around the flange on bare block will show any recession

the hold down bolts don't flex the flange like when the engine is running. a counterbore and some shims might be in order

bottom injector cup orings that are pinched or damaged can cause same fault.

the post assumes you've eliminated air compressor and any air operated heater taps
