The o-ring that is on comp is pretty easy to fix. Just three 3/4 inch nuts and drain coolant and replace. I don't remember if acert has the spacer between comp and mounting front plate. If it does when you pull comp you will need to pull the comp spacer off as well because there will be another o-ring in there.Wheeljack Thanks this.

I know this is a 2019 thread,
but I just got the same leak on a 3126
from the front of the compressor,
where the plate/spacer/gasket is.
Is there an o ring in there that could have split?

When they start leaking oil it's time to replace the air compressor. I would imagine that you are getting oil in your tanks as well.

I did not make myself clear.
The oil is not coming from in the compressor,
it is coming out the housing where it bolts up.
There shouldn't be a quantity of oil in there?
it's just an enclosed gear case.
It looks like i'm 1/2 gal. low
on a fresh oil change now, too?
No oil in tanks; opened drain, let them
blow out - to check that already.
