I have been finding a lot of problems with injector seats warping (especially #5 which gets the hottest), and allowing combustion heat to get to the fuel o-rings. This causes them to deteriorate, allowing combustion to enter the fuel system. This causes injectors to misfire under heavy load, resulting in loss of power on hills.. The best way to tell if this is a problem, is to pull the injectors and examine the bodies of the injectors. The injectors should be shiney clean. If their is carbon built up on the body, it is a sign that the injector is not seating properly. If this is the case, the injector seats can be machine while the head is still on the truck.
